Carnegie Hall, Manhattan International Online Competition

First Category:

– 3 Recitals at Carnegie Hall in New York.

In each of the three classes (1-A, 1-B and 1-C), a First Prize will be awarded, and the three winners (one pianist, one singer and one string performer), will each offer a 40min recital on 7 July, 2018. The Awards Ceremony will take place in conjunction with the winners’ recitals at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) on 7 July, 2018.

Professional pictures will be taken for the winners, and the concert will be recorded.

– Professional cachet for each winner + trophy, diploma, pictures and free tickets.

– International management: offer to join the roster of “Manhattan Concert Artists” for worldwide representation, as a free service with no exclusivity.

– Marketing campaign and publicity for the concert at Carnegie Hall and for the winners’ career.

– “Ivo Pogorelich Award”: Masterclass with Maestro Ivo Pogorelich, president of the competition, offered to the winner of the Piano Section.

Second Category

– A CD recording with the Orpheus label (award value: $18,000): the prize includes the complete fees for recording the album in a professional studio, sound editing, mastering, fabrication and worldwide distribution (all costs covered). The label Orpheus may offer more than one award. 1000 physical CDs will be allocated to the artist, as well as the totality of the recording rights.

– International distribution of the CDs, allowing the artist to benefit from sales.

– The CD will be also made available on all the platforms of digital distribution (Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Rhapsody, Amazon, etc.). The label Orpheus will not benefit financially from physical or digital sales.

– International management: Incorporation of the winner in the roster of “Manhattan Concert Artists” for worldwide representation, as a free service with no exclusivity.

– Album promotion (marketing and publicity): the release will be sent to the most relevant music media and magazines worldwide, accompanied with a press note.

The “Third Manhattan International Music Competition” has been designed to promote musicians who possess outstanding artistic personality, by offering them remunerated recitals at Carnegie Hall, a CD recording distributed worldwide and the possibility to join the “Manhattan Concert Artists” roster, as a free service with no exclusivity.
